Artist's Description
In 1987 my partner and I travelled from Cleveland, Ohio, to our new home in Florida by sailboat. We motored, with sails down, through the Erie Canal till we reached the Hudson River, then sailed out into the Atlantic and down the Intercoastal Waterway. The trip took four months. The images in Voyage Series I and II are visual equivalents of some of my experiences on this trip.
